Jordan B. Lyman

I think about Jordan at least once a week. We worked together at Abbott Labs until I moved to Washington in late 1993. He was one of the sweetest men I have ever met. The last time I saw him was when he came to Seattle for a visit the summer of 1994.

One of my favorite Jordan memories is him climbing out of his little yellow car and pulling out a tiny yellow umbrella in the Abbott parking lot. I've painted that picture a couple of times in an effort to release some of the pain...
