Not sure what to say?

I've been going through lots of old papers and found an announcement from the Darien Book Group from 1999 that Professor Jordon Pecile was going to return to talk about "Books and Plays that change Our Lives." I wanted to contact Dr. Pecile and ask about that important talk and topic! So very sad when I did a search and discovered Professor Pecile had passed away in 2021. In his passing, he still found a way to make a difference since his family asked anyone to donate to a public library in...

Through the inspiration and encouragement of this kind and selfless gentleman, he guided me through the start of my writing career. He was an amazing person and a brilliant mind.

It was Jordon's style to treat everyone as an equal, his ability to engage with others, and his compelling and tireless advocacy of his students that was exceptional. He will be sadly missed.

Godspeed to The Barrel Lifter.

My sincere condolences to the family on the passing of your loved one, Jordan. May the God of peace and comfort strengthen the family during this difficult time.

I was saddened to read about Jordon's passing. He was an excellent teacher; I met him while taking his life-experience writing class at Manchester Community College many years ago. He was so encouraging, I eventually had him write a blurb for my book on my mom's dementia which was published about a decade ago. One line of his I will treasure was: Life just keeps giving us new material (to write about - and the more dramatic, the better!) I was always happy to run into him at the Mystic-Noank...

I am so sorry to read about Jordon's passing. I had the pleasure of teaching with Jordon at the Coast Guard Academy in the mid 1980's. He was kind mentor and became a lifelong friend who had an enormous influence on me. I admired Jordon for his amazing intellect, great sense of humor and gracious personality. He will remain in my prayers.
