Sgt Scat Shaped me, thinking of him this 2025 Memorial Day. Serna

It's been a long year and it still hard to believe you're no longer here. Continue resting in peace cuz.

April 3, 2012
To the family and friends of Sgt. Jorge A. Scatliffe:
Jorge gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our fallen heroes be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you. "Some gave all."

I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss. I know there are no words to say at this time except to let you know the thoughts of many are with you in this time of sorrow. May our Father give you comfort and peace in the years to come.

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

My dearest friend, Jorge. Words alone can't express how much I miss you. I am blessed to have had the chance at becoming as close as we were. I am moreso happy for the last conversation we had on 4/1/11, just a couple days before your passing. AS ALWAYS, you left me with very encouraging words. Words that I will never forget. Of all the things I can remember you for, your smile, warmth, love for God and encouraging words are just a few to mention. You will forever reside in my heart. ...

To the family of My dearest Jorge,
Where do I begin. To his family...this is what I would say if I was able to have attended his services...I am flabbergasted that you are no longer here so that I can see or talk to you. I can not believe that you were here one day and now you have gone to be with our Savior. I remember when we met in Germany, I felt an instant connection to you and you were the son that I was never blessed wth until I met you. You had a great heart and were kind to...

i never met him... but i feel with his family and i know he is in a better place now.
