Not sure what to say?

Jorge lived with an inhibition that so many around him admired and learned from. The COVID epidemic and other life events has kept me out of the loop from a great deal of life, and I´m just finding out this sad news about Jorge. I met Jorge in the mid 90´s at Cal as an activist and continued to be friends over the years even as our careers were very different. Never forget your youth and the practical idealism which makes life worth living! Siempre Amor y Amistad. I will always remember you....

Community builder. Life of the party. Passionate activist. Endearing. Playful. Warm loving friend. Jorge Sanchez, you are missed!!

we miss you

Miss you forever mi klus

Will miss you forever and more

Jorge will be sorely missed but forever remembered for his tireless dedication and astounding commitment to the numerous communities he served in San Francisco as a community organizer, advocate, educator, and fellow colleague.

Namaste.

I was working as a volunteer with AGUILAS back in 2014 while I was living in Oakland with my husband. I had the opportunity to meet Jorge and some of his friends. He was always humble, kind and loved his job. He will be missed.
