Not sure what to say?

Without question, the most intelligent and fascinating individual I've ever met. As a layperson to his science, he would take the time to explain what it was all about in terms and explanations I could understand. We crossed paths back in the 1990's while constructing a custom built facility for the US Government that employed his technology. A time I still remember today with the sense and awe of being in the presence of a true genius.

A truly amazing man! He will be missed by all who's lives he touched.

Great human being, I met him long time ago, with my dad. God bless.

Uncle Russ was always one that doubled the energy level at the party. From his adventures around the world to his latest invention, it made one want to try to keep up in enjoying life with the style in which he did. He was an accomplished man in many ways - business, community member, and family man - yet you'd never know it by looking at...

Russ was the most generous man I've ever met.It has been an honor and pleasure to work for and with him these last 20 years. He made me.We had fun this last year building new accelerators that Russ designed, he will always be an insperation and we will continue to share his vision and passion. Thank you Russ,we love and miss you friend.

My dad was one of the great pioneers in his field of work. He also was one of the people who helped put silicon valley on the map before it was silicon valley. Remarkably, he continued great work into old age and made major contributions in later years. Above all he was a generous and loving man who will always be remembered by family and friends.
