Not sure what to say?

Dr. Castillio was a great man! Warm, generous and passionate about his patients. I remember his office waiting room was packed all the time and people did not mind waiting because they knew that Pepe will take care of them. Poor people coming from remote locations. A lot of times they just received complete care for free. Although he was trained as a surgeon he was a great family doctor and inspired me to go into family medicine. I try to give the same level of warmth and compassion to my...

I have worked with Dr.Castillo at Guffrie Medical Center and also at St. Joseph's since 1976. Since this time he was not not only our doctor and friend but also part of our family. We spent many Holidays and Sundays together. He was a great man and we will miss him deeply. He was a wonderful doctor and Surgeon. This is One doctor that will be missed by all in the community. My Husband will miss the long talks that they would have over a glass on home made wine. But most of all we will all miss...

It was because of Dr. Castillo that I became a doctor. He inspired me and encouraged me. He gave me the confidence to achieve a goal that I did not believe I could attain. I have always tried to practice like he did. Caring and compassionate. A wonderful doctor and surgeon. You will always be in my heart.

Although I did not have the honor of knowing my grandfather, Dr. Jose Castillo, my mother talked about how much my father resembled his father, Jose. She talked about how proud he would be to learn that I chose to be a nurse, and make a difference. My only regret is never having the opportunity to meet him, or discover some of the things that he did with his life until now. To hear what he has done for the people in the community is truly amazing. He is an inspiration for all Mexican people,...

Mi mas sentido pesame Nelia, Arturo e Isela.

Isela-
On behalf of my mother, Carmen Padilla and myself, receive our most heart felt condolence. Your father was my guardian angel, as he held my four year old hand, and walked me thru the corridors of his hospital to see my mother who he had saved.
He will always be in our hearts.

Isela and family,

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Heaven has another star shining brightly.

I just learned about the passing of a best friend, doctor and a great advisor. My heart is broken, that I will not see him again. I had the pleasure to meet Dr. Jose Castillo in the 70's and during all these years my son and I experienced his generosity, compassion and understanding. He was unique and it will never be another Pepe Castillo. We will keep him in our hearts for ever.
