Not sure what to say?

Berta, I've just come across Jose's passing. Find m empties from work and running into you around town. My deepest sympathies in parting, however temporary, from your best friend. Jud y Reed (Miles)

I knew him in the National Park Service. Not only was he an accomplished professional who loved his work, he was one of the nicest, warm, humane people I ever was fortunate enough to work with. A really fine man, making his accomplishments for the national parks all the more impressive.

Sincere sympathy to you, dear Berta, on this 1-year anniversary of beloved Jose's departure. Please try to keep in mind that, in Reality, life is eternal; and dear Jose is with our Father/Mother God.

My deepest sympathy to the Cisneros family. I´m from Benavides and went to school with Paul.

Berta, I doubt you remember us; my husband Dave and I spent a lot of time with you and Jose when you were posted at Gettysburg. Please accept our sincerest condolences on Jose´s passing. We have such fond memories of hanging out with you at the Codori House.

My condolences to you all on Jose's death. I too was a member of the NPS for many years and knew/worked with Jose throughout the years. I would occasionally see Jose around Santa Fe during our retirement and he was always as pleasant as when we were co-workers. God bless you all.

Berta, My deepest sympathy for your loss. I have some really good memories of working with Jose at Big Bend.

I was very sorry to learn of my fellow National Park Service superintendent, Jose Cisneros. He was a good man who served well in a number of challenging assignments across the nation. During an informal conversation a few years ago we realized that he and my wife (Diana Vera) were both from Benavides, TX, and he and her Vera/Garcia uncles were compadres. A small world that has become lessened.

To the Cisneros Family, I am sorry for your loss. Jose contributed very much to the National Park Service.
