Joe was a proud union member of Local #1130 in Modesto for 51 years, working on underground crews throughout California. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his trade. He and his wife raised their family in Newman, where he enjoyed farming, fishing, camping, and time with loved ones. Joe was also a board member of the Crows Landing Pentecost Society.

Joe was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2016 and was surrounded by the love and support of his family throughout his illness.

A Visitation will be held on January 22, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 p.m., with a rosary at 6:00 p.m., at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Newman.
