Dr. Jose Fernandez

Mr. Fernandez was one of the nicest people I have ever known.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. I was his patient back in the 70's. I spent a lot of time in his office with strep throat. It was because of him that I have no fear of illness, needles or other medical issues. He was so patient and kind and I will always hold him close to my heart. God bless your family.

Dr.Fernandez will certainly be missed. Are prayers are with the family.

Remembering, Dr. Fernandez. I worked as a Peds Nurse at Hurley, on 3ab, and 3C. then the new tower. Dr. was always kind and respectful to the Nurse staff.and to the patients. A gentle soul to all the kids. I have always respected him and it was a joy and pleasure to care for all his patients. Many years working with Dr. at Hurley.

Dr. Fernandez was pediatrician to my son. I credit him and Dr. Banerjee with saving my sons life. Dr. Fernandez has done so much to help other people. We will always remember him.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Fernandez. I remember when he became my oldest sons pediatrician. He was just starting out, and our appointments were in the evening because he didn't have his own office yet. He used the office of a colleague. My son is now 47. He took care of all three of my children. He was very respected! My prayers are with his family at this time.

Su Familia, Lo siento por la perdida de su ser querido. Jesus dijo en Mateo 5:28,29 "no se maravilen de esto,porque viene la hora en que todos los que estan en las tumbas conmemorativas oiran su voz y saldran, los que hicieron cosas buenas a una resurreccion de vida, los que practicaron cosas viles a una resurreccion de juicio." Rest in peace most excellent physician and kind soul. When we were transfered to Flint area by GM-we were so blessed to find such a fabulous pediatrician for our young sons. As a nurse and mom I was so impressed with his thorough clinical expertise and his deep humanity. My deepest sympathy to his loved ones.

Dr. Fernandez wasa very dedicated caring physician who cared for both of my childred for many years. I wish all doctors were as sincere and unselfish toward the care given to patients. Dr. Fernandez will be sorely missed.
