Today i though of this young man that made the ultimate sacrifice. I think of him everytime i pass his high school. Even though i am just a stranger, i always think of this young man. God bless

My son was a Navy Medic and served with the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade out of Camp Lejeune, NC in 2003. He was there, on that fateful day...

Jose Angel Garibay he is my grandma's cousin. My dad was born in the same place as him. On Memorial Day he told me about him. On how he wanted to be a U.S. Citizen and on how he died fighting for a country that he wasn't apart of.

I will never forget Jose's service and sacrifice. God bless his memory and his family
