Jose was my very first boyfriend a long, long time ago at Magoffin, and this news makes me very sad. My dad thought alot of him and his very fine parents. To his mom, you raised a wonderful boy. Very Sincerely Ann Hays Southall

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. I didn't know Jose very well, but have known his mother, Amelia. for years, as she was a dear friend of my mother's. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of Jose's family.

Jose and all of his family will be in my thoughts and prayers in this time of great sorrow. I remember writing about Jose in The Observer as sport editor because of what a great football player he was.
