GUERRA, JOSE A. Flint Age 16, died Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Visitation 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Jose was born in Flint, Michigan on May 30, 1998, the son of Jose Guerra and Gina Williamson. He loved skateboarding, BMX racing, playing video games, listening to music and fishing. He loved spending time with his family, especially his sister. Surviving are mother, Gina Williamson; father, Jose Guerra; sister, Madison Williamson; Grandmother, Karen Gall and Grandmother, Karon Guerra; Grandpa Dave and Grandpa John; uncle, Bub and aunt Heather, uncles, Nick and David, Jesse and 6; aunt, Jenny; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dear family - I was heartbroken to hear of Jose's passing. I was Jose's preschool teacher at St. Paul, over 10 years ago, and from the time I met him, he stole my heart. There was such a sweetness about him, and a bright light in those big brown eyes. I am praying for the peace of Jesus Christ to comfort you now and in the days ahead.
