SAN ANTONIO, Texas
Our beloved dad, Jose Morin Gutierrez passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2020 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 64, surrounded by loved ones and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Crespin Gutierrez, mother, Catarina Gutierrez, sibling: Amalia Garcia, Diana Gutierrez and Oscar Gutierrez.
He is survived by his children: Ernie Gutierrez, Lori Novella, Jose Gutierrez Jr., Michael Gutierrez and Margarita Gutierrez; Siblings: Amelia Gutierrez and Mary Tejeda; grandchildren: Akyra, Adam, Benjamin, Jazzmyne, Alexis, Eric, Nathan, and Jesse; great-grandchildren: Aribella and Amory.
Jose proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was known for his generous nature, forgiving heart and his kindness to all that surrounded him. His family is comforted to know he will be resting peacefully with his mother, father and siblings who have gone before him.
MEMORIAL SERVICES
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 1st in
The Angelus Chapel beginning at 5:00 P.M.
followed by a Memorial Rosary to be recited at 6:00 P.M.
Chapel capacity is 50 persons.
Private burial will be held at
Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.

My condolences to my friends Amelia and Maria on the loss of their brother Jose. My Dad was a hard working man. He was very tough but could be very funny. He cared for all of his kids and grandkids. I will miss hearing his funny catch phrases and his silly jokes.
