July 21, 2022 I only today learned that Jose had passed away 8 months ago and I am heartbroken. Jose was a student of mine at Chinook MS in 1990 and always held a special place in my heart - he was kind and caring - a friend to all and he always made me smile. My mom passed away at the end of that school year and I missed the last couple weeks of school. I was in the MES program with Jose at Evergreen, he was also DJing at Kaos. Really such a kind, nice and interesting man. He introduced me to music via his radio show that I still love. Thank you Jose. After I read his obituary I am not surprised to learn of all the contributions he made to humankind. So sorry he had to leave so soon. Much love to family and friends.
