Querida Ana.
Accidentalmente nos acabamos de enterarnos de la triste noticia del fallecimiento de José María el pasado 21 de septiembre.
Cuando las pasada Navidad no recibimos la habitual felicitación de Navidad pensamos que fue por extravío y no por esta triste noticia.
Desde Toledo ( España) su amigo y compañero de la mili Arturo y su esposa Pauli te enviamos un fuerte abrazo y nuestras condolencias.

Ii never met Señor Jose Lacambra. However, while reading his book Rising Sun Blinking, it seems that I was right alongside his friends and him in the streets of Iloilo City, Philippines. Although i now live in California, I also spent a lot of my childhood years in Iloilo. A todo su familia un abrazo fuerte. Que descanse en Paz.

Dear Ann and family, T.O. And I were so saddened to hear to hear about Jose Maria. His life was so blessed because he gave so much of himself to living, which wonderfully encompassed everyone around him.
