Jose Leal born on April 19, 1930 in Laredo, TX went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2015 at the age of 85. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Maria Leal and Leonor Davila Leal, and his half-brother, Sixto Morales; sisters, Lydia Valdez and Gloria Rodriguez.
He is survived by daughter, Leonor Melissa Leal (Michael); sons, Gerardo Javier Leal (Leticia), Jose Leal Jr. (Marissa), and Raul Leal (Irene Gloria); sisters, Delia (Mario), and Leonor (Ramiro); grandchildren: Carisa Rubi Leal, Melissa Raquel Leal, Anaissa Ariana Leal, Gerardo Javier Leal Jr., Adriana Leal, Alejandro Jose Leal, John David Carrillo, and Liliana Gutierrez, Stephanie Atwell Santos, and Priscilla Irene Atwell; As well as numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25, 2015 from 12:00 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM in the Hillcrest Chapel. Procession will depart Hillcrest on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 8:30 A.M. for a 9:15 A.M. Mass at St. Luke's Catholic Church (4603 Manitou, SATX 78228). Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
