Jose G. Ledesma

Jose' G. Ledesma, age 33, Crookston, died Friday, August 2, 2013 at RiverView Health in Crookston. Jose' was born on January 9, 1980 in Carrizo Springs, Texas, son of Venseslado and Josefina Ledesma. At the age of six, his family moved to Moorhead, MN and then at age ten, they moved to Crookston. Jose' attended schools in Crookston, graduating from Crookston High School in 1999. Jose' worked at the McDonalds and Subway stores in Crookston. He enjoyed drawing, music and watching movies (of all kinds). His sisters remember him as a jokester. Jose' is survived by his mother and step-father: Josefina & Jorge Jaramillo of Crookston; three sisters: Victoria (Dionicio) Ledesma-Mendoza of Springdale, Arkansas, Susana Ledesma of Minneapolis, and Araceli Mendoza of Waseca; two nieces and five nephews: Erica, Josealejandro, Ivan, Micah, Nathaniel, Benny and Karla. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father: Venseslado on March 6, 1999; a brother: Venny; a sister: Ana; and a nephew: Julian. The funeral for Jose will be at 11 AM, Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Crookston. Visitation will be at the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home in Crookston on Wednesday from 5-7 PM, with a 7 PM prayer service, and also at the church for one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Crookston.
