Not sure what to say?

I miss you, Abuelo.

So sorry, didn't know that Jose had passed away. We were colleagues from community mental health in Lansing in the 1970s. My favorite boss an teacher.

I just learned of the passing of Dr LLINAS. I knew him when he was the Medical Director at Meridian Behavioral Healthcare. He was very kind and compassionate with both clients and staff. May his soul rest in peace.

I never knew Dr. Llinas, but I felt that I knew him as I faithfully read the column he wrote for The Gainesville Sun during my early years here. He seemed so wise, compassionate, and full of common sense. Now I know that many patients benefited from his care over the years and that the community is better for his efforts toward better understanding and treatment of mental illness.

Dr. Llinas was a learned psychiatrist and a kind and compassionate man who served our community selflessly for many years. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

So sorry to hear Dr. Lina's has passed away. My condolences to his family. As a former patient I can attest that he was the shining light that led me out of my darkness.

Dr.Llinas was an amazing Dr. He helped my wife Mary for the whole time he worked in Gainesville combating her bipolar and ptsd illness . He was very compassionate and would help My wife each and every time she reached out to him for his help. The world lost a true champion for the mentally ill he will be sorely missed..We need more Drs. Like Dr. Llinas..

Dr. Llinas served our women veterans so well! I often think of him, and remember his sweet gentle spirit. One day I asked him what he had in his brown paper lunch bag and he replied, "It's my lunch, made with love by my wife!" I miss him being next door to me in the clinic. How dearly he will be missed, and what an amazing family legacy he leaves behind!
