Uncle Joe was the best of men. He was good to his wife, his children, his family, and his friends. Uncle Joe was always kind to my family. He was always welcoming to my husband. I am so sad that we lost such a good man too soon. I wish I had known the last time I saw him that it would be the last time. I would have hugged him longer and told him how much he has meant to me. I would have said, "I love you," and "Thank you for being so good to my aunt." I would have told him how much I have...

Uncle Joe - I will forever remember our wonderful, fun times together (playing golf in the rain in Saipan, chasing after the wild pig at the ranch, the list is endless). Everyone could always count on you for a laugh. You will be missed but you will live on in our hearts.
To Auntie Dari and the family - my deepest condolences, I wish I could comfort you in person. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless.

Sadly I only spent a small amount of time with Uncle Joe, but I will always remember him sitting at the dining room table at my grandmas house, making everyone laugh until they cried. I didnt always understand the jokes, but I always knew that whenever he was going to be around, it was going to be a great time. He will truly be missed. Auntie Dari, I am so sorry for your loss, Uncle Joe was great man.

We miss our Uncle Joe so very much. But I have come to realize that Joe Lujan was Uncle Joe to so very many of us. His kindness and laughter were infectious. It was virtually impossible for our family to be with Auntie Dari and Uncle Joe for more than a few seconds before the laughing and fun would begin. From the very first moment we met Uncle Joe, I never saw him be anything less than kind and truly caring. His moods were so predictable because they were always good. Yes, even after the...
