I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. I knew Jose from his days at UCSF, and haven not forgotten his gentle soul and beautiful smile. Prayers of comfort to you, Julia, and all who love him.

Jose will be sorely missed, but his spirit lives on in each of us. Our thoughts and hugs to Julia and the boys! Michelle and Eddie Rodriguez

PS: The Brawley Boys photo was taken a few years ago at Julia and Jose's home. Aaron and Eddie Rodriguez, Jose and Jose Padilla. What a delightful event and warm gathering of old and new friends.

Brawly Boys at Jose and Julia's home .. Aaron and Eddie Rodriguez, Jose Padilla and Jose. Such a wonderful memory.

We offer our sincerest condolences to the entire Miramontes family. Joe was a true friend in every sense of the word. We are all so very grateful for the time we had together and for the generosity he showed so selflessly. He had a profound impact on many lives and his memory will live on. He will be missed. Rest in peace my old friend.

Sorry for your loss, Miramontes family. A fond memory of him. Rest in peace Joe, close to your great mama.

Wonderful person. Joe was one of the nicest and sweetest person I have ever met. He will be missed by all who knew him. My deepest sympathy to his family for their loss.

Our sincerest, profound condolences to your entire, incredible and strongly- knit family. We are greatly blessed to have called Dr. Jose our longtime friend. His humble, jovial nature made him a pleasure to just sit and chat with. He shared his life and knowledge with great joy. We shall truly miss him.
Heaven is richer for his spirit being back home with our God. We will forever treasure all our memories of him. See you when we see you again, Jose. Hasta luego. Eternal peace is yours...
