Jose Alberto Pagan, 40, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lawrence, MA. Jose served in the United States Navy from 1991 to 1995. He graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Science and was a member of the first CNU football team. He was employed by CSC at the Naval Weapon Station, Yorktown as a Network Senior Professional and was a faithful member of Bellamy United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Beth Pagan, his children, Josalynne Sophia Pagan and Leonardo Michael Pagan, his parents, Norberto Pagan and Florentina Pagan, sisters, Emely J. Pagan and Jennie M. Pagan, nieces, Ivana I. Pagan, Jazaria S. Montes, Melayni I. Cruz, Ciara I. Grey and Ahomeah N. Perry, father and mother-in-law Mr. & Mrs. Michael H. Kellogg and sister-in- laws Flip Grey and Hannah T. Kellogg. The family will receive friends at Andrews Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 6:00 to 7:30pm. A worship service celebrating Jose's life will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 2:00pm in Bellamy United Methodist Church by Rev. Kenneth Waclo. A burial service will follow in Bellamy Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue, P.O. Box 1417, Gloucester, Va. 23061. Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
