Not sure what to say?

In 1977 I gave birth to my first of 4 sons.As I was preparing to leave to go home with my new baby I was told there was an issue with my son´s (Louis) umbilical cord and there was an infection. That´s when Dr. Rementeria came in to explain. As we get older we tend to forget things, but I do remember his kind look and him being an extremely nice person. He explained everything and reassured us that my baby was getting the best care.He gave us daily updates on Louis´s progress. Nine days later...

Cristina Azcona

My condolences to his family and friends. He was a wonderful doctor and person.

I worked with Dr. R. at The Brooklyn Hospital, 1978-88. He was a true humanitarian, giving his time and talents to help and teach. We also carpooled during the Transit Strike (1987?) where I got to know him on a personal level. He followed the path of Christ. RIP Dr. Rementeria Bill Larkin, R.Ph.

Dr. Rementeria was one of the best teachers during my residency training. He was methodical, precise, and so compassionate. He treated all the premature babies as if they were his own. I will remember his kind heart for a long time.

Dr. Rementeria sat with one of my newborn premature identical twin daughters all of Thanksgiving Day in 1993 while she had a blood transfusion due to Twin Transfusion Syndrome. He was a kind, gentle, calming man who truly loved his calling. My daughter is almost 30 and healthy. I always remembered him fondly throughout the years and am sad to read of his passing. Condolences to his family and may he rest in peace. God bless...

A wonderful physician! May he rest in peace. My, our condolences to his family. He took wonderful care of my daughter when she was born premature. He had a magnificent bedside manner that kept both me and my wife calm during the ordeal. Always professional, he gave us the facts on "baby's" condition, but was also always positive. I remember he always referred to them as "baby", no first names. Thanks to Dr. Rementeria she is a healthy 30 something today. Later, I found out he played...
