Yesterday I met with friends of Sgt. Saenz from India company who continue to remember him with fondness, respect, and honor. Having lost my own son, LCpl Jordan Haerter in Iraq in 2008, I want to extend my heartfelt condolences to Jose's family and friends on the their tragic loss. I that time moves on but the pain will never go away. Just know that he is remembered by those who he served with who continue to tell his story and keep his light shining.....May he rest in peace...

We continue to be grateful to Jose for his service and sacrifice for his country.

My Family and I will miss you with all our hearts, It had been a few years since you moved on from Camp Johnson but you changed the lives of all around you. Your mentorship and constant positive attitude made me a better Marine and a better person. God bless your family in this hard time. May you rest in peace and stand tall guarding the gates of Heaven.
