Survived by mother, Maria Guadalupe Sanchez, sister Palmira Sabrano, brother Michael Sanchez, son Simon Salinas III (Anjy), Sylvia Gonzalez, and Sara Gwosdz (Chris). Grandchildren; Miranda Bryant (Keith), Christopher Salinas (Stefanie), Katherine Beth Ware (Jason), Gabriel Gonzalez (Jackie), Marcos Gonzalez, Vincent Gonzalez, Alexander Gwosdz, and Katherine Gwosdz. Three great grandchildren.

My dearest brother, I have so many memories of you. I know you had a big heart especially for children. I have many fond memories of the many times we went fishing and you paying me $1.00 for every pair of shoes I shined for you because you made me feel rich,,, I miss you, I wish I could have those moments again just so that I could relive them with you,,,

Memories of life
As I scanned through all the pictures seen on here I saw wonderful memories of a man who born and raised his children and was a big part of their lives. Watching them grow up and being involved with his grand children and all facets of life. Simon took care of his world and accomplished many things with a rough strict firm hand. Simon also had a big heart. He gave to his family and others when they needed it the most.

Rest in Peace Jose!!! You are in a better place now..My deepest condolences to the family of Jose Salinas my co worker in the registry section for more than 20 years..A fun guy and crazy good guy to be around...God bless the family,and my the Lord give you peace..
