I was sorry to read that an old friend of mine had passed away. I met Joe while coaching at Northside Little League in the early 70's. Joe became a good friend of mine and was alway at my games in case I needed help. I will alway have fond memories of Joe as he was one of a kind. He was also loved and respected by all the players and coaches at Northside and will never be forgotten. My thoughs and prayers are with all of his family members during this most difficult time.

Mr. Solis was my baseball coach for the Northside Rangers (1976-78). We had three very sucessful years and he coached several good players. I learned the interworkings of the game from him. He was very patient with the less talented players. My prayers are with you.
