Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathies go out to the Trevino family. Jose was a very dear and close friend. We were involved in many political campaigns and struggles together. Jose was always there when I needed his help. He was relentless in his pursuit for justice and equality for the downtrodden. He was a voice for the voiceless. Joe was an admirer of Emiliano Zapata who said," it's better to die upon your feet than live upon your knees ". Jose died upon his feet! Rest in peace my brother!

I first met Mr. Trevino at Democratic party when he would come by for our events or when he would come by to say hello. He was always in a good mood and smiling. You could see his kindness in his eyes and his smile. He would always help us by taking signs to place around town or by bringing us volunteers to phone bank. He was always fighting for our community. He was a great man! We will miss him very much and his music as well! God bless his soul! We are keeping the family in our prayers!...
