Uncle Joe may you rest in peace, I have many memories of you, and the time that you spent here on Earth. I went to your wedding, and we worked together on your rentals. I'm happy that you're suffering has ended,I will pray for your soul, and wish you eternal rest.

To my cousins and the Vela family, my condolences in your time of sorrow.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Joe's passing. We, his relatives in South Texas, are grieving but thankful to God that he is not suffering anymore. We have wonderful memories of our five years in Michigan and the times we spent together visiting him and his family. The last time we saw him was when he made the special effort to come visit Mom in Mission and we all got to see him and his sons. Thank you Danny and Michael for making that trip possible. Our prayers and love are with you and all...

So sad to hear of Uncle Joe's passing. We have fond memories of him in South Texas. Our family's last memory was so special. Uncle Joe made a grand effort to come visit his sister (our mom, Eva) three years ago. Our short time spent together as a family will be forever ingrained in our hearts. Our sincere condolences to the entire Vela family. May God give you comfort, peace and strength during this difficult time. Love, Sylvia Quintanilla Garza and Armando L. Garza from McAllen, TX

As sad as Joe's passing is, at least he isn't suffering anymore and is in a better place. Will always remember his funny laugh and big personality! Prayers to the Vela family for comfort. Xoxo
