My condolences and prayers to Minnie and all jose's family. I met joe back in 1963 as an eigth grader attending Memorial Junior high school when he played football as a ninth grader. We then re-met working at CCAD in 1984 and worked together on various work projects until my retirement in 2009. I remember many times at work, Joe would join Minnie at lunch time in our office. He will be greatly missed. .

I first met Mr. Vela two years ago at the restaurant I still manage, we started a conversation and found out that he worked with my dad at the Army depot when Mr. Vela was a very young man. Told me some great stories about dad that I never would have known about. I will miss him very much, RIP sir.
