At a young age Jose left his home in Comerio, Puerto Rico in search of a better life, moving to the Northeastern part of the USA. He began working in a Farm in NJ from there he continued moving westward into PA where he landed a job in the historical Bethlehem Steel Plant where he worked for 42 years.
