Not sure what to say?

We miss Peerce's Plantation and also Josef's Country Inn. May his memory be a blessing.

My wife and I have many fond memories of not only great meals at Josef's restaurant but also many interesting conversations with him about his home in the Black Forest area of Bavaria. We have really missed him since Josef's closed 10 years ago. May he RIP and condolences to his family.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends on such a great loss. We had many phenomenal dining experiences at his restaurant, which brings beautiful memories flooding back with a smile on our faces.

SO sorry to hear this sad news & sending my heartfelt Condolences to Mary, Daniel, Oliver & the family at this sad time. I feel fortunate to have known & worked with Josef many years as a waitress at Peerce's Planatation & then at Josef's Country Inn as well. His culinary skills were legendary & he was quite a unique character too. Enjoyed so many fond memories of working with him & all the staff at both restaurants. He will definitely be missed!
With sincere sympathy, Jeannie (Rowan)...

I was so sorry to read of your loss and wanted to offer my sincere condolences. Losing someone in death is one of the most heart wrenching things we endure. Please take comfort in all the memories you have, find hope in the scriptures and gain strength from the power of prayer.

We always enjoyed having dinner at Josef's Restaurant. Sometimes he would sit with us and talk about his German connections. He was a kind and interesting man.

I remember when my friend Linda got married. She wanted strawberries for her reception. No one had them , no one could find them. I believe, if I'm remembering correctly it was the day before her wedding, here came Josef walking up to her house with 2 flats of strawberries. What does that tell you.
