Not sure what to say?

Dear Louise, so sorry to hear this. Sorrier still, we could not make it, since we moved to Oklahoma. Mine and Ollie's deepest condolences.

My deepest condolences, German Joe was a great man, a gentleman. He made a bird house fir me ten years ago

I knew German Joe for a good part of the last 20 years from his daily visits to Schaffer's Tavern where he would have a short one (or two) and always make everyone jealous when leaving "to retire to my biergarten". Such a warm fellow and well respected. Just hearing of his demise and wanted to share a good word. Auf Wiedersehen, German Joe! Will drink 'em here until that time, old timer!

What can i say ? joe was a true genuine man that loved life more than anyone i knew. he would come by to see my new daughter and after his stroke ihe met y daughter. i will always remember him in my heart

Condolences to you and your family. My mom and I knew your husband from the local deli. Such a wonderful man your husband was to us. We lived in Targee St and and met you at the bus stop when Josef dropped you off in the morning.

my wonderful uncle joe, you were the most kindess ,loving ,generous, most unique person i have ever known in my life. ill always remember how you kept your garden with the pots and the huge frypan. the biggest amercan flag you flew out side your home . i also remember the dollhouse you made me when i was little girl and untill quite recently i still had it . i will always remember the sounds of your harmonica that you have played not only for my birthday and also on my weddingday. . there is...

Dear Louise, Maria, Mark and Family I'm so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. Growing up a few doors "down the hill" from your family, I have many fond memories of "German Joe". A few of the houses he built that are mentioned in the beautiful obituary written for Joe, found their way into our home. My favorite was one Joe built solely from nails of different types and sizes, meticulously crafted and painted. This was proudly hung on a wall in our home, and admired by all that entered....

Hi Louise, I am very sorry for your loss. My cousin Judy just sent me a txt about your husband today and said you worked with my mother (Barbara) in NYC. I remember your name now and knew you and my mom were friends. Again, I am very sorry for your loss. Rob

I may have never met you but I know one of your greatest creations, your daughter Maria, and through her I can tell you must be amazing. She is an amazing woman and a blessing to everyone she comes into contact with. I'm sure they will share your stories for generations to come and your legacy will live on. God bless the entire family during this difficult time.
