Josefina Tellez Zurcher

Our beloved Josefina Tellez de Zurcher, soon after her family sang her one of her favorite Hymns "Abide Wth Me; 'Tis Eventide," crossed peacefully to the other side of the veil on May 27, 2021.

If she would have had a middle name, it would be Angel, but instead she was an angel

She was born in Mexico City, in April 27, 1937. In 1986 she immigrated to the United States with her husband and a strong desire to give her family a better life.

She was predeceased by her Parents Angelina Vega de Tellez & Eduardo Tellez Ruiz, and her sister Marta Mendoza.

She lived a beautiful life being married to the love of her life, Juan J Zurcher Vernis, & is survived by him, their 5 children & their spouses, Juan J Zurcher T & Julia Aceves de Zurcher; Edna A Zurcher May & Daniel E May; Yvette Zurcher Bird & Jonathan Bird; Karina Zurcher Arshad & Keyyanoush Arshad; & Alan Zurcher Tellez.

She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren & spouses Edwin May; Kevin May & Emily Johnson; Michelle May & Alexis Ledezma; Anelieze Zurcher & Franco Castrejon; Charles Zurcher; Aldrich Zurcher & Mattie Myers; Ruth Zurcher & Will Allred; Lev Zurcher; Brandon Bird; Aryanna Wilkes; Shayleen Bird; Ethan Bird; Nejad Arshad & Marley Burkinshaw; Aliyeh Arshad; & Hailey Zurcher, 9 great-grandchildren, and by her 3 brothers Eduardo Tellez Vega, "Pepe" José Mendoza, & Jorge Mendoza & 8 sisters Cecilia Tellez de Véloz, "Ceci" Carmelita Tellez, Connie Tellez, Katy Tellez, Maricela Mendoza, Nina Mendoza, "Lupita" Guadalupe Mendoza, & all their loving spouses & their children

Having family gatherings was her heaven on earth

She loves God with all her heart, so she served others following our Savior Jesus Christ's exemplary life, with kindness & compassion, never expecting anything in return. Always caring for "the one," the individual. Although she was petite, she had a giant heart.

Those who know her have been touched by her love, leaving a beautiful impression in their lives that can't ever be erased, she never saw faults in others, always saw their best & how hard they were trying, she would find a way to help or share a kind word or her beautiful smile, if you were having a bad day, you just had to think of her & felt better.

She left an incredible legacy of love.

She was a devout member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, her faith was unwavering, enjoyed serving in the temple, & at church, even though she served in many capacities, one of her favorite callings was to teach the little ones, & they knew she cared

She lives in our hearts forever

Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 5, at 11:00 AM at the LDS Church 1945 West 9000 South West Jordan Utah. A visitation will be held on Thursday June 4, at 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 South 2200 West Riverton Utah. Internment at Riverton Cemetery 12830 S Redwood Rd, Riverton, UT 

Nuestra querida Josefina Téllez de Zurcher, poco después de que su familia le cantara uno de sus himnos favoritos "Cuidame; 'Tis Eventide", cruzó pacíficamente al otro lado del velo el 27 de mayo de 2021.

Si hubiera tenido un segundo nombre, sería Ángel, pero en cambio ella era un ángel

Nació en la Ciudad de México, el 27 de abril de 1937. En 1986 emigró a los Estados Unidos con su esposo y un fuerte deseo de darle a su familia una vida mejor.

Sus padres Angelina Vega de Tellez y Eduardo Tellez Ruiz y su hermana Marta Mendoza fallecieron antes que ella.

Vivió una vida hermosa estando casada con el amor de su vida, Juan J Zurcher Vernis, y le sobreviven él, sus 5 hijos y sus cónyuges, Juan J Zurcher T y Julia Aceves de Zurcher;  Edna A Zurcher May y Daniel E May; Yvette Zurcher Bird y Jonathan Bird;  Karina Zurcher Arshad y Keyyanoush Arshad;  Y Alan Zurcher Tellez.

También le sobreviven sus 14 nietos y cónyuges Edwin May; Kevin May y Emily Johnson; Michelle May y Alexis Ledezma;  Anelieze Zurcher y Franco Castrejon; Charles Zurcher; Aldrich Zurcher y Mattie Myers;  Ruth Zurcher y Will Allred;  Lev Zurcher; Brandon Bird; Aryanna Wilkes;  Shayleen Bird;  Ethan Bird;  Nejad Arshad y Marley Burkinshaw;  Aliyeh Arshad;  & Hailey Zurcher, 9 bisnietos, y por sus 3 hermanos Eduardo Tellez Vega, "Pepe" José Mendoza, & Jorge Mendoza & 8 hermanas Cecilia Tellez de Véloz, "Ceci" Carmelita Tellez, Connie Tellez, Katy Tellez, Maricela Mendoza, Nina Mendoza, "Lupita" Guadalupe Mendoza, y todos sus amados esposos y sus hijos

Tener reuniones familiares era su paraíso en la tierra

Ella ama a Dios con todo su corazón, por eso sirvió a los demás siguiendo la vida ejemplar de nuestro Salvador Jesucristo, con bondad y compasión, sin esperar nada a cambio. Siempre cuidando de "el uno", el individuo.  Aunque era pequeña, tenía un corazón gigante.

Aquellos que la conocen han sido conmovidos por su amor, dejando una hermosa impresión en sus vidas que nunca se puede borrar, ella nunca vio fallas en los demás, siempre vio lo mejor de ellos y lo mucho que se esforzaban, ella encontraba la manera de ayudar o compartir una palabra amable o su hermosa sonrisa , si estabas teniendo un mal día, solo tenías que pensar en ella y sentirte mejor.

Dejó un increíble legado de amor.

Ella era un miembro devoto de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días, su fe era inquebrantable, disfrutaba sirviendo en el templo y en la iglesia, aunque sirvió en muchas capacidades, uno de sus llamamientos favoritos era enseñar a los pequeños, y ellos sabían que a ella le importaban 🤗

Ella vive en nuestros corazones por siempre.

Wl Servicio funeral se llerara acabo el savado 5 de junio a las 11:00AM em la capilla de la Iglesia de Jusucristo de los santos de los Ultimos dias ubicada en 1945 W 9000 S en West Jordan, Utah. El velorio se llarara acabo el Jueves 4 de Junio de las 7:00 PM a las 8:30 PM en la casa funeraria Broomhead ubicada en 12600 S 2200 W en Riverton, Utah
