Not sure what to say?

Oh how I miss you my dear brother. I miss your jokes, texts and most of you seeing and talking to you. You were taken way too soon, we were supposed to grow old together. God obviously needed you, he only takes the best. Love and miss you. Love your little sister Debbie

Not a day goes by since Joey passed that I don’t think of my brother. I often forget, and go to text or call him on the fly.., as we often did. Then I catch myself, as I can no longer do that anymore....., yes I miss you my brother, you were everything a younger brother could ask for, am thankful for everyday that god chose you.... to be my brother. It is those memories that bring a smile to our faces, when our hearts are so broken, as you left us so suddenly when the angels came on that un...

I remember Joe from when we lived on Delafield Avenue when we were all kids. Danny was more my bother Kevin's age, with Linda and Joe being a couple of years older and Debbie the youngest. Next door to them lived Walter P. and his brother, whose name escapes me now. Having moved off Staten Island 31 years ago, I sometimes check the obituaries and was saddened to learn of Joe's passing. But was happy that he had a happy life and a loving large family surrounding him. Please accept my...

I just cannot believe you are really gone, Daddy. I have so many memories of you and all of us together. I will never be able to put them into words. You were an amazing Daddy. The girls and I were so very blessed to have spent almost a full year so close to you in SC. I thank God every day. Thank you for coming to me in a dream the other night and giving me the greatest, biggest hug. I missed that before you went home to Heaven. I love you, Daddy. The girls miss their Poppies. xoxo Until we...

Knew Joe from NYPD shop 5, all I can say is he was a hard worker and a gentleman, RIP Joe and condolences to his family , gone too soon .....

I would like to extend my prayers and condolences to the Abate family. I was privileged to have known Joe while he worked for the NYPD. I had more that a few laughs with him. A good man who adored his family. God Bless

To my big brother, there has never been a day I didn’t have you in my life, to protect, to guide me and to lend a hand when I needed it the most. You were someone that I looked up to and admired, and Loved dearly. You are gone from earth but you will never be forgotten. Thank you being being a wonderful brother and Uncle to my boys. I will cherish every memory I have of you today and always. Love you, Your Sister Debbie RIP
