Joe, I and a third student often enjoyed recess in elementary school together. He was kind, loyal, thoughtful and handsome with a great sense of humor. He knew I was an avid coin collector and one morning in September 1964, he surprised me with a 1913-D cent for my collection. My sympathies to Brian, Joe's brother, and all other family members.
