To my dear great uncle Monsignor Joseph, I pray for you as you have now arrived in Heaven. You have been an important person in my life, in my mother's life and in the lives of many in our family and friends. It is hard not to be able to see you every Sunday and chat with you about the world and the Maronite Church. You have been a teacher to me and a second grandfather after the passing of George, your brother. With you gone, your generation is now all united next to God and looking at us...

He was a true scholar, and he did so much to build the Lebanese Maronite Catholic Faith in the United States. I express my condolences to Monica/Monique, his niece, and to all those close to him.
