Your willingness to help others before yourself will always stand out in my memory. I was honored to be your friend and co-worker. From one Navy veteran to another and fellow canaller I wish you eternal peace.

Jerry and Kathy I´m so sorry to hear the sad news that Joe passed. I´ll always remember all the fun times we all had growing up on Tabor Place. And Joe and my sister Joan hanging out together when we were kids. RIP

Joe was someone who would literally give you the shirt off his back. I talked to him months ago about his cancer and he told me that he didn't want to be treated at the VA hospital because he thought other vets needed more help than himself. This speaks for the character of this great man. Rest in peace Joe.
