Red Lion
Joseph David "JD" Adams, 31, passed away on Saturday night, September 24, 2016. JD was the son of Nick and Brenda Adams and a devoted father to Sage and Gavin Adams. He was the husband of Ashley Hagan Adams and then partner to Dawn Smeltzer. He was the grandson of David and Shirley Tumolo (Selinsgrove) and Joseph and Linda Malloy (Winfield). JD is survived by these family members along with his aunts, uncles, cousins. He also had many friends that he considered family.
JD was born in Lewisburg, PA on March 3, 1985 and attended Damascus Elementary School (Maryland) before relocating to York County with his parents in 1995, where he attend Red Lion Area schools including Red Lion Area Senior High School.
JD was gifted and had many talents including drawing, playing guitar, and painting. He demonstrated his love of artwork through body arts, wearing numerous tattoos and piercings. He was a gaming master and was savvy with electronics, technology and working on vehicles of all kinds including his Jeep. Above all else, he loved spending time with his children.
He was vice president of his father's motorcycle shop, Morgan's House of Twins LLC in York. Most recently he was employed by Pennex in York.
A Life Tribute Service will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, September 30, 2016 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will be Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Mt. Rose Cemetery.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help with costs and in support of JD's children at https://www.gofundme.com/jdadams. Those closest to him are asked for support in this manner rather than flowers, etc.
