Our deepest condolences to the Addonizio Family . Joey was always warm hearted and gracious, especially considering all the impositions placed on the family by the many friends who were always welcomed at their home. I always looked forward to seeing him, whether on the Parkway, where he'd often "waive me through", or at the "Compound", while prepping for a night at the Surf Club. Joey was a "one of a kind" guy.

I will never forget Joey's smiling face and warm greeting whenever we came in contact. Joey had a genuine affection for and loved to tell stories of his interactions with The Casino. Two memorable moments with "The Weep" happened on the Garden State Parkway. In the first, Joey stopped a car full of us at a toll booth and would not let us pass without first surrendering a cold one.
