I knew Skippy. his brother and sister growing up on 7th and Madison Street , Hoboken where Skppy's father owned a mechanical garage. My brothers and I were good friends with Skippy until our late teens and we went our separate ways. However, I again met Skippy at Sampson Air Force base during my basic training. I will always remember when Skippy got me a promotion at Samson when my First SGT turned me down. There are not many of us Hoboken...
