I keep wishing that this was all a dream and I wake up and i going to come visit you at the rehab center or listen to Aunt Flossie's stories of you getting into trouble at the rehab center. I love you so much and will miss you very much but i know that you are not lonely anymore as you are with gram.

Dad, it has been 1 week and it feels like a dream to me. Tomorrow we say our goodbyes and I'm not ready. I don't want to even wake up. I want to go back to you making me promise I will be back again after my afternoon run, which I did. I only wish I could open my eyes and you be there.
