I will always have family memories of Uncle Joe growing up especially in the 1970s. His kindness, playful nature and infectious laugh was fantastic. Many years later these are fondly remembered and part of a cherished childhood that will forever be appreciated! Until we meet again Uncle Joe...

He was my God Father what this means is anything that happened to my Dad he would be there for me. He was a Professional Man well respected and straight to the point. He would send me Christmas cards every year and said I hope everything is well with you!!! And Iam going to miss those Christmas cards. God bless My Uncle Joe and I hope everything is well with you also!!!!!

Such an uplifting and infectious spirit even when he didn't have to be. It was clear how much G'pa Alessi cherished and enjoyed family. I am forever grateful for him and his example. He is truly missed.

I don’t remember too much of my Uncle Joe — we drifted apart as families do — but the memories I have from my youth are good ones. I was small and often overlooked, but Joe always took the time to make me laugh. I loved exploring his basement, enjoying enormous dinners that he slaved over, hiding from his monstrous dog, and wondering how his hair stood on end. I know he helped my family. He kept our secrets. I never got to thank him for that.

Best friend of the Thom Sutton family, we will miss you.

Going to miss my Uncle Joe, had the greatest since of humor.
