Not sure what to say?

To the Alissa family with fond memories and gratitude. You stayed with us kids while parents we in Europe. Jo-Anne (excuse the familiarity), you drove us to Vincent school every day and you both touched our lives. I´m so sorry about Joe, he inspired my brother Benin Kingswood. *hugs* Rufus Cooke ([email protected])

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Alissi's passing. May you find happiness in the all the wonderful memories. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."

Jo-anne e famiglia Alissi, Joe exemplified mankind at its best. He could light up a room by his presence, smile and vibrant personality. His accomplishments were many, yet, his humbleness always placed the interests of others ahead of his. Joe was a proud son of Caspano and he will be sadly missed at future club banquets. Fortunately he has provided us with enduring memories we can cherish. Ciao caro fratello May the Lord be with you. The Caspano Club Family

Jo-Anne, Jimmy, Johnny and Joey,

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of my family are with you at this time of sorrow.

Your father was a great man who demanded a huge amount of respect. Underneath his sometimes "tough" demeanor he had a great sense of humor. I was lucky to have met him and spent such a large amount of time with your family at rinks around New England.

I will always remember the days at KO when he would catch me skating in a...

Dear Joanne;
My deepest sympathies to you and your family upon the loss of Joe. I just heard yesterday from Nick Cosmos,Jr.
I have such wonderful and precious memories of you both. Your kindness to me will never be forgotten. From the first time I met Joe I thought he was an extraordinary person.
If there is anything I can do for you or your family please don't hesitate to call. If you are on the Cape please call. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Dear Jo-ann, Jimmy, John and Joey,

Words cannot describe the shock and sadness I feel for you and your families at the sudden loss of Joe. He was a truly kind, genuine and caring father and grandfather who touched so many people's lives along the way. From my years babysitting for you, working at the Village Day Camp, attending Kingswood-Oxford, and finally living in your third floor apartment, I can truly say that Joe carried himself in a quiet, caring demeanor, assisting...

Jo-Anne,

Nancy and I are saddened to learn of Joe's death and we wish you and your family best wishes for God's peace during this difficult time.

By all accounts Joe was a special person who achieved memorable successes in the lives of those around him. Among other recognitions are those from our alma mater, Springfield College.

You will be interested to know that the college flag was lowered to half staff in Joe's memory.

May God bless you all!

Dearest Jo-Anne (& Jim, John & Joey),

The Fagan Family sends its deepest sympathies over Joe's death. Sharon, Jim, Peter, Bob, Terry & I (spouses and children) were stunned and saddened by the news, and Bobby & Maggie Sherwood especially wanted to be remembered to you. Do you remember that following David Sherwood's death, Joe gave Bobby a job at Village Day Camp? Bobby & Maggie loved the camp. And all of us got such a charge out of the carol sings you both brought to us next door...
