I worked with Joe for a few months on the Friends of the Children's Resource Center and was impressed with what a caring and hard-working man he was. The children who he helped were fortunate to have such a strong and effective advocate.

We very shocked and saddened to hear about Joe. I have not seen Joe since we graduated from High School, but have so many great memories of Joe. He was such a great guy who always made me laugh. We will keep your family in our prayers and hope that all the great memories of Joe help you in days to come.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I worked with Joe through the Children's Resource Center Advisory Board and he repeatedly went above and beyond the call of duty. Joe was a truly exceptional person who had a passion for bringing laughter into a room. (Needless to say, we didn't get much accomplished at our board retreats.) Your entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
