Joe: You will be missed by your family and friends. Everyone stopped and listened when Joe was talking. Chris and I are so grateful we got to spend time with Joe and Debbie just before Halloween. Joe challenged me from the beginning as my boss back in 1989. I didn't enjoy it much then but his challenge made me a better business person and his energy and knowledge of the A/E business model then helped me succeed. In fact, he was so full of energy that the fellow Law Engineering employees made a video titled: Joe Knows! - a take off on the "Bo knows" commercials. Many, many enjoyable memories. Thank you, Joe.

I was shocked and saddened by Joe's death. I have considered Joe a friend for a long time. I will always remember him as a man of integrity with a quick wit and a ready smile. He was always willing to talk and help you with what ever need you had. If he couldn't help then he would always steer you in the direction of someone who could. (Usually you had to look no further.) I only knew Joe four short years, working with him at Ardamana & Assoc. Joe was, bar none, the best boss I ever had. He was intelligent, insightful and compassionate. Joe ALWAYS made time for anyone in need. Our lunchroom was legendary with jokes and laughter. I loved to make Joe laugh. I once announced, "I have a date tonight......with a man!" Joe will always be remembered as a great engineer but most as a good person and friend. He touched many lives in many ways. He was a great buddy for all of us Law Engineering folks and will be greatly missed by all that he touched.
