Not sure what to say?

Dear Uncle Joe,

Thanks so much for all the beautiful memories you blessed me with. I will forever cherish the summers spent in Cream Ridge helping you feed the mink, hayrides on the pickup truck with all the Anan cousins, digging for potatoes, riding on the tractor with you, the chicken coop you built for us and of course there was "Blackie". I will never forget that great big smile you always had on your face. You taught us all not to take life so seriously and you certainly...

I salute you Joe

I only knew Joe for about 5 years. In that short period of time I learned a lot about him. He was an amazing man with some amazing stories. His love for his family was, and I know still is, unconditional. He was a funny man with some great one liners. He was a sensitive man who would sometimes shed a tear, especially when he spoke of his Marie. He was kind and giving, helping out his daughter Karen and I and his other children if they asked. Joe accepted me as part of his family. A family I...

Dad, I still can't believe your gone. I miss you so much. The house is so empty without you. We were so close. I could open up to you and tell you anything, and you always accepted me, never judging me. And that worked both ways, you opened up to me too. You were my father, my friend, and my drinking buddy. One of my favorite memories was when you used to come home from the race track, after winning, of course, and throw your money around to us kids! One of your many favorite sayings was "If...

My prayers to the family. I had the pleasure of knowing Joe from working at the press with him for a number of years. One of the coolest guys I knew. He will be greatly missed. RIP Joe!

My condolence to the Family of Joe. I go back to '66 at the
P.O. with Joe when I worked there for a while. Joe was very funny and great to talk to. I remember the mink farm story and I thought there were more then 3,000. We talked about horses that we followed. I am happy that he lived a full life and had a loving family. Very good man.

Dear Anan Cousins,
Wow, a legend has left us and has left behind a lot of memories. Mine go back over a half a century! I'll always remember my summers on the mink farm especially in Cream Ridge, the trips to New York Harbor to see your grandparents off by ship on their annual trips to France (where we were even allowed on board!), and the many holidays we spent together growing up. Like Cousin Lois wrote, he was like a dad to Sue and I after our dad died. He was always good for a...

To the Family of "Joe Press":

I had the distinct pleasure of being a colleague of Joe's, as well as getting to know his children. My memories of his humor will last forever, and my life that much more enriched for having known him. God Bless all of you!

Uncle Joe, you left behind lots of fond memories for many of us. Always willing to help me or offer a kind word, you were the closest thing to a father I ever had. A wish for peace in the upcoming holiday season to all my Anan cousins. Come visit me in Montana!

Pop, you were the Man! We miss you already. Thanks for leaving us with a lifetime of memories to keep us going. Now, Mom has you back at her side. (Don't bug her too much!)
