Lon, my husband and I have such warm memories of Joe. Lon went on many a jogging excursion with Joe and I learn how to be a college administrator with Joe as my Director.

Joe was my Algebra teacher at Fitchburg State in 1960. His patience and consideration of others modeled for me the kind of teacher I wanted to be.

I will always remember Joe sitting with my father at the kitchen table making out his application to teach at FSC. Thank God he did teach there, as I eventually had him for freshman math. Joe was one of God's special people on earth and he will be sorely missed by many.
