Not sure what to say?

I only met him once, in one of his treatments @ a community hospital. What a great guy! He loved sharing stories about his family and how he enjoys his job. His illness did not deter him from sharing that beautiful smile, his positive attitude an eye opener.
Thank you Joe for being an inspiration. You might be gone but your memory will live on. Heaven truly gained an angel.

Dear Erica,
Joe was a great friend of mine. He was my student when I worked with him at New England Baptist Hospital. Years later he helped me secure a job at Melrose Wakefield Hospital. We had so much fun at work. He came to my house many times. We played golf and smoked many a cigar. He was there through my divorce and when my son passed in 2011. Erica & family,
I so saddened to learn of Joe's passing. He was a truly loving father and husband as displayed everytime I saw him with you and the children at the office. With sincerest sympathies,

Erica..There are no words to express our heartfelt sorrow for the loss of your husband Joe..Our thoughts are with you and your children..We love you..

Erica,
My son Luke was in Maria's woolly bear class last year. I am so sorry for your loss. It's hard to understand a tragedy like this when someone so young and vibrant with so much more to give is taken too soon. Please know that you are in our thoughts at this difficult time. And the Acorn community is here to support you for anything you may need.

Dear Erica...this was no ordinary life, this was a life well lived and well loved, a life that will deeply be missed. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this extraordinarily difficult time. With sincere heart felt sympathy... Laurel, Grant & Ashley Phillips

I'm so very sorry for your loss.
I know the love Joe had for you will comfort you and the children forever.

I've been looking at this for so long and I honestly don't even know where to start. The first thing that comes to mind .. he was an amazing father!!..I would visit with Joe and Erica and just be amazed at the interaction with his children!! The second thing that comes to mind is ..he was amazing cook!!..We had been to a few of their barbecues etc. and if there were 20 people there Joe was cooking for 60!..and he had an infectious smile while he was running around crazy..trying to be as...

I am so very sorry about Joe, Erica. Words still escape me as to the depth of your mourning and the tremendous loss you and your family feel. May God hear your prayers, may your family and friends gather around you and the children, and may God grant peace to your broken heart. Much love to all of you. Aunt Sue Barrett.
