Not sure what to say?

I'm so sorry for your loss. Joe was one of the first people I met at Duke. He was from Jacksonville and I from Pensacola so we had an immediate bond. Then we did several shows together, and we're good friends. His smiling face was always such a blessing! I know he is missed by so many. Blessings to all of his family.

Words, however kind,
can't mend your heartache:
but those who care and
share your loss wish you
comfort and peace of mind.
May the Arena family find strength
in the love of family and in the warm
embrace of friends. You will me missed
dearly my friend.

Condolences to the entire Arena family. Joe was a great guy. Will cherish always our time together spring break college freshman year with Joe's NYC family. :-) From the Marshall Islands, much love and komol tata for the memories.

Deepest condolences to you and your family. Mom has kept me up-to-date as you have dealt with Joe's illness. He was obviously a very special man who has left a wonderful never to be forgotten legacy.

I am very sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed. I will offer many of my prayers for his soul. William J. Namen

Joe was my rock and sounding board throughout the years at work. He was an amazing guy, friend and father. Joe will truly be missed more than words can share. Love to Deb, Rachel and Matt always.

Sending out blessings and prayers to the family in this difficult time. Cry if you need to.. you don't have to be strong, but remember the blessing he was and will continue to be in your hearts.

I always remember Joe having a smile on face! He always made me laugh and would always say, "Whitson, what are you up too?" Or he would tell me, you are trouble girl! I will miss that smile and I will always keep his family in my prayers! Angela Whison Class of 80

So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I went to San Jose and then onto Bishop Kenny with him and remember him well. He will be truly missed by everyone for he touched everyone's life in his own way.
