Not sure what to say?

Sensei Artesi Sr.'s name was introduced to me in the mid 1980s during training with Sensei John Touchton of Waverly Hall, GA. Sensei Touchton spoke of him with reverence, and I wish I had met him in person.

Mr. Joe Artesi was my karate teacher. Many years have passed, I haven't forgotten what a truly good man and great guy he was.

Remember Shihan Artesi from his participation in the tournament promoted by Preston Carter at the War Memorial Building.
Always a gentleman and would never hesitated to give me input even though I was under a different system and instructor.
May he RIP.

Sad to learn of Joe's passing. Got to know him from biology class at BHS. He was quite the entertainer and black belt master.

Mr. Artesi was my homeroom teacher at Bridgton High School... A great man and a great teacher of life... Malcolm Buck and I were his first Karate students when he moved to South Jersey to teach at BHS. We put on many karate demonstrations for organizations in the area back in 1966-67. Haven't seen him in a few year's but I still find a void in my heart for the man that gave so much of himself.

He taught a good friend of mine,Marti Manuel.Contiue to Rest.

I'm sorry to hear about his passing. My condolences to his family. My dad Robert Stell taught karate with him when he was at the Olympic Center back in the 70's.I used to practically live there when I was a kid because my dad was there all the time.I even went up to Mr.Artesi's house once in awhile and hung out with his kids.He was always really nice to me.Alot of happy memories at that Olympic Center❤

Mr. Artesi was a great man with a big smile and personality . I was one of his science students and he made it fun .
He will be missed by all. My Condolences to his family!

I loved Mr Artesi. He was my 8th grade science teacher and then later in my life my entire family trained in his dojo. He will be sadly missed. The Skorupski Family
