My sincerest sympathies to the entire family. The memories of big Evans are large in my life. It was amazing how just his presence inspired. From the tennis courts to black tie events and all places in between, the, ever affable, Evans seemed to be around with a vigor for life and contagious deportment that influenced me in a heck of a positive manner.
I only knew about his professional career from those of his friends, clients and peers that said nothing less than "Evans was one of...

During my sixteen years of marriage to Kenneth Franzheim II, Evans played a prominent role as advisor to both of us.

My dearly beloved uncle Evans Attwell left his mark on New York City as well as Houston. He came frequently on business and in between all his meetings he enjoyed this great city. A favorite early morning activity was running on the resevoir especially when the cherry blossoms were in bloom. And then we'd stop off at a deli and get coffee and...

To the Atwell family:
I have known Evans for over 50 years and even though I hadn't seen him much in the last 20 years my younger years as a golfer we crossed paths many times. I always listened to his wisdom very intently and used his advice on many occasions. He and my dad were big friends and his great smile and his ability to make you feel like you were the most important person in the world will always be my memory of him. He was a great man as is demonstated by his life and his...

Evans, Theresa and family,
We are very sorry to hear about the loss of your father. I only met him a couple of times but found him to be a very friendly and down to earth man; much like his son. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
